The picture represents Charlie Chaplin in a left profile sitting on a low stool with one leg put upon another and smelling a small flower. The toes of huge black boots turn up. A black bowling hat crowns the lowered head and a thin stick stands by the stool. Charlie's face and the left hand holding the flower are painted with rose color, the coat is painted with grey and black, and the trousers - with blue and grey.
