The picture represents a couple holding a round wreath of flowers, that includes pomegranates, grapes, figs, dates, carobs etc. The woman on the right is wearing a red dress, a red tarbush on her black hair and a yellow shawl. The man on the left is wearing a long yellow-purple mitre, an orange robe and a purple robe. He has a long white beard and sideburns. The city of Jerusalem is seen behind and between them. They are standing on a triangle, decorated with fringes, that has a Hebrew inscription on it. It says: "מגילת אסתר מצוירת ע"י זאב רבן ירשלם תרצ"ו" The Book of Esther Illustrated by Zeev Raban Jerusalem 1936 (5696)
