Vol. II, fol. 486v: The initial word “precept” (מצות) is written in display script within red filigree panel, accompanied by a blue and magenta medallion enclosing a lamb in spared-ground technique. The lamb may allude to “All the young of the cattle“ (הוולדות הנולדים בבקר) mentioned in the following text. Red flourishes extend from the panel along the right side of the column and between the lines.
