Fol. 86v:
Originally a blank page, now containing two illustrations, executed by a later hand of the 18th century in black ink. The illustrations are set in the centre of the page, depicting two hands, each holding a scale between the thumb and the forefinger. The scale on the right side of the page is a balanced one, but is missing the dishes of the scale. In between the two sides of this scale is an inscription reading מחצה על מחצה, meaning the scales are balanced. The scale held by the hand on the left is unbalanced, with the dish on the right inscribed below “virtues” (זכויות ) tipping the scales downwards and the dish on the left set higher up. Puncturing this hand is an arrow and to the right of the hand is the corresponding inscription reading ” the scale of virtues determine” ( זכויות כף הכרע).
