The drawing represents the scene of purchasing of the goat. On the foreground to the right there stands Shimon Ele. He stands sideways with his back turned to the spectator and with his head turned left. His looking at the goat standing nearby. In the center, a little bit behind, one can see Teme-Gitl in a long skirt, apron and a kerchief on the head. In her right hand she holds a milk jug, while with the left one she holds the rope to which the goat is tied. On the background there represented the husband of Teme-Gitl - melamed. He is sitting at the table with his back turned to the spectator and teaches several children.
