The picture represents a street of a Jewish shtetl. To the right and to the left of the street one can see three houses with brown riged roofs supported with white columns. The central house situated in the distance is two-storied. A wattle-fence is streched from the left house on the foreground to the large two-storied house. There are a lot of huge sunflowers between the houses and behind them. On the background of the composition there is a decorated backdrop with small houses, trees and fences scattered about it. In the center of the backdrop there two cows turned away one from another. The whole picture is painted with brown, yellow and white colours.
