The picture represents a view of a landlord's house and its surroundings. The house is in the center of the composition. It is two-storey. The massive ground floor is cut with a door and small semicircular windows. The second floor faces the stereet with a veranda with three white columns supporting a ridged roof with three chimneys. Through the openings between the columns one can see the wall of the main floor with a door in the center. To the left there is a porch with a small ladder attached to it from the front. Invisible steps are leadind also to the veranda from the right. To the left of the house there are a yard with the gates in its depth and an apple tree with red apples on it. To the right of the house there is a one-storey long building with windows and a door. The even blue and grey backdrop is represe nted on the background.
