The title and the colophon “Seder Haggadah Shell Pesach” (Seder Haggadah of Passover) are surrounded by five illustrations:

Moses and Aaron are flanking the text;

below them are David and Solomon.

Within a shield at the top is a crown surmounting a pitcher and laver, flanked by two rampant lions.

To the right of the title, a bearded Moses stands in a frontal position in front of a column. He holds the Tablets of the Law in his left hand and the rod in his right hand and rays protrude from his forehead as horns.

To the left of the title, a bearded Aaron stands in a frontal in front of a column. He is dressed as the High Priest and wears a mitre and breastplate. His long coat is adorned with bells. He holds a censer with both hands.

Bellow this scene to the right of the date a crowned and bearded David sits within an arch. He holds a scepter in his right hand which in pointing down and he rests with his left arm on a lyre.

To the left of the date a crowned and bearded Solomon sits within an arch and holds a scepter in his right hand.

Above the title is a scene within a shield. A crown surmounts a pitcher and laver.
