Interior.

The bulk of the synagogue has a square plan. The construction of the vault consisted of the octagonal dome placing over a square room with pendentives. Two stepped curved vaulted construction supported the dome.

The multi-tiered composition of the murals correlated with synagogue construction.

The murals of the synagogue made in 1762/3 in accordance to the inscription.

The decoration of the octagonal dome consists of three concentric layers of the composition. In the center of the dome are placed floral rosette. The wide ring of vegetable plaiting with cups of flowers, animals and birds surrounded the central rosette.

Painted architectural cornice separates vegetable plaiting from the broad band with eight medallions with symbolical images. The are: the lion and the unicorn (in a battle), camel (between trees), wicker basket with the first fruits, elephant with a turret (the house) on the back, group of deer grazing, hand removes the snake from the tree. An animal with a bushy tail (fox) is hiding under a tree, lion and lioness running, the large dark bear on a chain.

The square room with pendentives are depicted by eight round medallions with animals images and inscriptions. The medallions are placed inside floral ornament.

 

The first step of curved vaulted construction which supported the dome are decorated by landscape and narrative scenes.

The second step of curved vaulted construction which supported the dome are decorated by zodiacs signs, three on each side of the synagogue.
