The drawing represents a procession of about ten male figures of different size and character, moving from right to left. Most of them hold wooden collars in their hands. The small figure that is placed frontally in the middle of the procession, reminds of Rembrandt's graphic self-portraits. Short, non -readable inscriptions are made below or above the figures; the image of Rembrandt's signature is used there twice. The whole composition is taken in a "frame" of calligraphically written, non-readable text reminding of an ancient handwriting.
