Fol. 62:
The page for the musaf prayer of the Day of Atonement includes one painted initial word panel at the top of the left text column and three small pen-work initial word panels set within the text columns, all executed in the second stage of decoration in the 15th century.
The painted initial word “Remember us” (זוכרינו), is written in gold within a blue panel filled with white feathery scrolls and surrounded by a gold frame, decorated with gold buds and topped by two vases, each with a handle and a cover. The vases are filled with red and blue flowers.
The small pen-work initial words are written in black ink within a panel filled with delicate filigree pen-work extending on the right into a decorated narrow band ending in tendrils. The panel at the top right is filled with purple and red ink, while the other two panels on the left are filled with red ink. The tendrils of these two panels incorporate a crane in the intercolumnar space.
