20 Remarks
20 Description The empty town is seen from above. A street as though flows down in the right part of the drawing from the top to the bottom. Two sleeves go from it diagonally leftwards. A row of houses is depicted in the upper left part. There are small one-storey buildings with arches leading into the yard, walls of destroyed house and a kind of Greek temple though roughly and primitively built. The parallel row of houses is situated lower between the sleeves of the main street. There, from the left to the right stand a large house with high chimneys along the wall, two low houses, a two- or three-storey building with a porch, a large arch and two rows of square windows, and a three-storey house with a column of three windows and strange buttresses on two sides of it. On the foreground there are small buildings, sheds and fences. In the upper right stands a building with a large through arch in it and a half-ruined wall infront of it.
