20 Remarks
20 Description Two big figures occupy almost the whole composition. There are a big circle formed from black, blue and green concentric circles with red point in the center and a big imaginary fish-bird placed under it. The fish-bird is painted in profile, facing left. It has a big red-green head with three-cogs crown, big parrot beak, black fish fin and yellow fish tail. Its body reminds also a many-colors see-shell. Its upper part painted by dark-yellow, black and blue wavy strips. A dark inner surface of the see-shell is painted with dark dim-green paint and covered with white symbolic signs. We can see here a menorah, triangles, little arrows and a triangle inside a square with the point in the center. Under the figure some triangles diverse forms, measures and colors (black, light-yellow and dim-green) are placed. One of them is a background for an inscription executed in Cyrillic letters by a thin brush with black paint: "Obraz Sredizemnogo moria, narisovannyi v Ierusalime Michailom Grobmanom" [The image of the Mediterranean Sea painted in Jerusalem of Michail Grobman].The signature of the artist is set here, too. A long black and dim-green broken line reminds a serpent is painted in the lower part of the composition. Two dim green cones are set in its upper corners. All surface of the red background is covered with diverse images: circles, deformed triangles and signs imitated ancient Hebrew scripts.
