20 Description Fol. 59: In the lower part of the right text column the initial word ” booth" (סוכה) for the opening of tractate Sukkah is written in dark brown ink within a monochrome turquoise panel. The letters are outlined in red and surrounded with spared-ground technique and decorated at the junctions by three small horizontal lines. The panel is decorated with animals in lighter turquoise above, below and between the initial word as follows: A dragon with a leafy tongue is depicted above the word, while four other creatures (a rabbit and three hybrids) are depicted between and below the words. Red borders dotted in white, frame the panel. At the upper part of the text column, tractate Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) ends in the form of a goblet.

20 Description Fol. 26, on the left, below the end of the commentary to Deuteronomy, the name "Elia" probably of the second scribe is marked in his note written in small square Ashkenazi script: חסל ביאור התורה אדר לך יאה הרם ומתגאה שגב ידי נלאה תוקף/ להעצימם / פירוש להשלימו נוכחו ותעלומו כן עוד יצו עמו/ חסדו בכל יומם “Completed the commentary of the Torah”. The scribe glorifies God in rhymed verses and marks the initials of the first four words (אדר לך יאה הרם) with three diagonal dots, possibly indicating his name: Eliah.
