20 Description Above the >piyyut> for >Shavuot>, אמר יצחק לאברהם אבוהי כמה נאה מדבחא דבניתא לי אבא "Isaac said to his father Abraham `How beautiful is the altar which you have built for me'" (Davidson, I, א No. 5812, p. 265), is an illustration of the Fifth Commandment, "Honour thy father and thy mother". In the center of the panel, Abraham, wearing a pointed Jewish hat, is standing, holding Isaac's hair. Isaac is lying on his back on a painted altar on the left. The angel, who appears as a crowned bird with red and green wings, touches the long knife held in Abraham's right hand. The inscription above starts with Genesis 22:12 "אל תשלח ידך אל הנער ואל תעש לו מאומה" "Do not raise your hand against the boy, or do anything to him", and continues with the last verse of the Aramaic >piyyut>, as Isaac's words: "שדי אמר ליה לא תדחל טליא אנא פרקו ידך" "God, tell him not to slaughter the kid". On the right, the ram is caught in a thicket by its body and horns. Part of Genesis 22:13 is inscribed above the bush "הנה האיל אחר נאחז בסבך קרניו". "a ram caught in the thicket by its horns"
