The picture represents the shoemaker'shop with two shoemakers working. The one of the right is bearded , has a hooked nose, glasses, and wears a kipa. They are sitting before a table on which an oil lamp and the tools. A stove with a pipe, and a window through it light rays enter are on the left side. On the backgroun boots and shoes are hanging, a vessel is on a shelf and a wardrobe with draws can be seen. A samovar is on the wardrobe. The whole picture is dark with little white areas giving contrast. A Russian inscription is written on the back: Leningrad, V.O (Vasilevsky Ostrov), 5-aya lin. d.50 (5-aya liniya dom 50), S.Yudovin. The date 1928g. is written in the lower right on the front side.
