20 Description הדרך עשר Compartment N (205 x 168 mm): A rectangular ground plan of the future Temple of Ezekiel with the west at the top, south on the left and north on the right. The plan consists of three main parts: the outer court, the inner court and the Temple. Each part of the plan is inscribed with Hebrew numeration, the explanations of which are given bellow. The outer court is surrounded by a wall (2) with three gates (3) to the south, west and east and consists of four small courts (10) (one in each corner) and six chambers (15, 28a, 29a). Near the wall a lower and an upper flours are dipicted with their chambers (8, 9). Between the right chambers inscribed: "the way of ten cubits" (Ezekiel 42:4). The inner court with the Altar in the center (19) is surrounded by a wall with four gates: three to the outer court and one to the temple Hall, and has some inner chambers (lishka) along the wall (16, 17, 18). The gates of the outer and inner courts consist of cells (4) three on each side, and have steps (5) infront of the gate. The Temple is divided into three parts: the Hall (23), the Holly (24) and the Holly of Holies (25). It is surrounded by two rows of chambers (Ta'im) adjoining it on the south, west and north sides (21a, 21b, 25d).
