20 Description Full-page panel as a frontispiece to the book of Psalms, depicting Goliath, dressed as a soldier, lying face down on the ground. The young David, dressed as a shepherd and carrying a satchel, is standing on Goliath's back and holding his raised sword in position to behead Goliath. Drops of blood flow from Goliath's forehead and by his arm. In the background is a landscape with trees and a city. The panel is framed by gold and surrounded by foliate scrolls composed of twisted leaves, stylised flowers and golden fruit (acorns?) interspersed with butterflies and a wreath at the bottom.

20 Description Full-page panel as a frontispiece to the book of Job, depicting the bearded and naked Job, covered with boils. He is seated amidst ashes in front of a building, scratching himself with a potsherd which he holds in his right hand. Job is accompanied by his three friends seated on the ground. Two of them are gesturing with a hand. The third is joining his hands in grief. A cityscape is in the background. The scene is framed in gold and surrounded by foliate scrolls composed of curling leaves, stylized flowers and golden fruit (acorns?) interspersed with butterflies and two birds pecking at the leaves.

20 Description Full-page panel as a frontispiece to the book of Proverbs, depicting the youthful, crowned, Solomon, clad in purple and blue, seated on a stool against a red curtain dotted with gold. He is holding a scepter topped by a fleur-de-lys in his left hand, and pointing with his right hand at the left hand woman kneeling before him. The two kneeling women face each other and gesture with their outstretched hands. To Solomon's left stands a soldier holding a naked infant by the leg, lifting his sword to slay it. Another man, is watching from the left. The scene is framed in gold and surrounded by foliate scrolls composed of curling leaves, stylized flowers and golden fruit interspersed with butterflies. At the top centre is a bat or an owl.
