The brass free-standing back-walled Hanukah^lamp consists of eight oil containers,a back and side walls. The Hanukah^lamp is supported by a rectangular flat base. The eight round spouted oil containers are fastened to the back. The openwork back wall is rectangular, and consists ofa central circular cartouche, surrounded by a wreath. A floral design flanks the cartouche. On each side of the floral design appears a small Star^of^David. Atop the circular cartouche is a Star^of^David.

The right side wall is composed of the figure of Moses, holding the tablets of the law in his right hand. He has "horns" on his head.

The left side wall is composed of the figure of Aaron, wearing the breastplate, and holding an incense censor in his left hand. He is wearing a mitre on his head. His right hand is outstretched and has an opening in it, probably to support a Shamash.
