The silver pear shaped spice container consists of a base,a shaft, a body and an apex.

The base is circular, plain and bears rounded and sharpened rims, in alternation. Its upper part is decorated with a circlet of radiating leaves surmounted by another circlet of petals steming out of its centre, elevated by a concave and plain part. The shaft consists of a tree branch with leaves and a flower on top The body is a pear looking down which consists of a container and a lid. The container is decorated with vertical bands decorated with stems, leaves and flowers, in alternation with plain bands. The hemispherical lid is decorated with twisted leaves and vertical rows of holes.The body is surmounted by a pecking bird-like apex.
