The main cloth is decorated, at its center, with two columns surmounted by rampant lions flanking tables of the covenant surmounted by a Torah Crown. Above the Crown is the inscription:

!Dedicated to the Lord!

Flanking the crown are the letters: ! !Crown of Torah!

Below the tables of the covenant, between the two columns is a dedicatory inscription embroidered in filled-in letters, reading:

!This Parokhet was dedicated to the synagogue 'Ahava VeAhava' by## Avraham Sharaz and his wife Matilda, May the Lord protect and sustain them (inits.) The dedicatory inscription is framed at the bottom by a pattern of foliate and floral branches with a bow at their center. The rectangular kaporet is made of the same fabric as the parokhet. It has a lower border cut in a straight edge with a fringe band. The center of the kaporet bears a Star of David framed by a branch on either side. Above the Star of David is an inscription embroidered in square, filled-in letters. It reads:

!for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.! (Is. 2:3, Mic. 4:2)
