There are three hallmarks on the holder. 1. The hallmark depicts St. George with the date 183? below in a semicircular frame. This is a city mark of Moscow in 1830. cf. Postnikova-Losseva, p.203, no.2008. 2. The cyrillic initials "N.D." (in lat.) surmounting the date 1835. This is the hallmark of the assaye Nikolay Lukich Dubrovrin active in Moscow 1822-1855. cf. Postnikova-Losseva, p.205, no.2104. 3.The initials "A.T" in a rectangular frame . This is the hallmark of the artist Tihonov Afanasi, active in 1820-1839. cf. Postnikova-Losseva, p.209, no.2245.
