20 Description The silver Torah shield is rectangular and terminates with a semi-circular arch. In the lower part of the shield a vase is depicted. A large oval body surmounts a concave base. Two scroll handles are rising to the level of the mouth. The lower part of the body is decorated with petal-like design, while the upper bears a depiction of a net. Two rampant lions with leaning out tongues are supporting the vase. An arabesque in a form of two scrolled vines is spreading out of the vase all over the shield. It bears large flowers and grapes. Above in the top part of the shield there is a horizontal brunch with five simmetrical flowers (the largest in the center), holdered by two birds. Two loops are attached to the backside and bear a chain.
