20 Description The silver Torah shield is rectangular and terminates with a semi circular arch. An arched plaque is depicted in the center bearing a dedicatory inscription, in linear square letters and reads: *זאת נדב מאהורר (מורנו אדוננו הרב רבי) נפתלי *במוהרר (בן מורנו הרב רבי) יצחק (כצ זצ"ל (זכרון צדיק לברכה "This was donated by our teacher, the Rabbi, Rabbi Naftali and our teacher, the Rabbi, Rabbi Issac Katz the righteous, of blessed memory". The plaque is surmounted by a conch. Two rampant lions flank the plaque and the lower half of the conch. Flowers and leaves surround the lower part of the plaque. The Torah shield is framed by an internal raised line with wavy edges. Two rings are attached at the shield's backside.
