The round raised base is composed of several levels, the bottom of which bears an inscription which reads: "Gewidmet von Moritz Mayer 18 24/5 96". The top level bears a wreath of acanthus leaves. The cylindrical undulating shaft has four eliptic medallions in the center surrounded by leaves. The openwork design is composed of scrolls with three putti heads each with a pair of wings. The cup itself is smooth and round.

20 Description The cup is composed of two parts, a base,shaft and an openwork design that envelopes the cup itself which is a seperate unit. The round raised base is composed of several levels, the bottom of which bears an inscription which reads: "Gewidmet von Moritz Mayer 18 24/5 96". The top level bears a wreath of acanthus leaves. The cylindrical undulating shaft has four eliptic medallions in the center surrounded by leaves. The openwork design is composed of scrolls with three putti heads each with a pair of wings. The cup itself is smooth and round.
