The following description was prepared by William Gross:
This green glass bowl/jar is decorated with many classical Persian illustrations. The technique is acid etching. Around the neck is the entire Hebrew alphabet and makers name in Hebrew. There is one biblical scene of the spies returning with the large cluster of grapes, based on the image originally engraved by Mattheus Marien in the 17th century in a series of biblical engravings. The use for this glass vessel is not immediately clear and it may be that it was simply a decorative piece.
