20 Description The rectangular alms box is composed of a receptacle and a cover. The receptacle bears a clasp at the top and a dedicatory inscription in the center in square filled letters which reads: "ציון/לנשמת המנוח/ר' חיים גערבר ע"ה )עליו השלום(/אשר נדבה אלמנתו/הצנועה מ' )מרת( אסתר/מבית פעלדשארק/שנת תרי"ב" "Dedicated to the soul of the deceased Rabbi Haim Garber may he rest in peace donated by his modest widow Mrs. Esther of the house of Feldshork the year (5)612 =[1852]". The rectangular cover bears a trapezoid opening for the coins and an addditional inscription which reads: "Eigunthum der Horicer Synagogue 1852".

The receptacle bears a clasp at the top and a dedicatory inscription in the center in square filled letters which reads: "ציון/לנשמת המנוח/ר' חיים גערבר ע"ה )עליו השלום(/אשר נדבה אלמנתו/הצנועה מ' )מרת( אסתר/מבית פעלדשארק/שנת תרי"ב" "Dedicated to the soul of the deceased Rabbi Haim Garber may he rest in peace donated by his modest widow Mrs. Esther of the house of Feldshork the year (5)612 =[1852]". The rectangular cover bears a trapezoid opening for the coins and an addditional inscription which reads: "Eigunthum der Horicer Synagogue 1852".
