20 Description The trapezoid alms box is composed of a receptacle , a cover and a handle. The receptacle bears a foliate and geometric scroll on either side and a wavy design on the narrower facets adjacent to them. The tapering rectangular cover has an opening in it center for coins. The front of the receptacle bears a clasp and there is an ear shaped handle on the back of it.
