The tombstone is a stela with a protruding border. Its upper part is broken. The Hebrew epitaph reads:

הזאת אשר

שמתי מצבה [בראשית כח, כב]

לראש ר' יוסף

ב'ר' בנימן הנהרג

לירח מרחשון

שנת ק'ב'ל' לאלף

הששי ת'נ'צ'ב'ה'
