20 Description The globular Rimon is made of silver and consists of a shaft, a body, a head, and an apex. The cylindrical shaft is tapering and is encircled by a corrugated ring at its bottom. The body consists of a two-tiered bowl base, a four-tiered globular main section that narrows towards the top, and a convex collar. Six conical bells hang from the bottom of the main section, and six such bells on chains hang from the collar. The body is decorated with closed filigree, a zig-zag pattern on the two lower tiers of the main section, a pattern of flowers within arches on the upper two. The collar is gold-plated, and decorated with a closed filigree geometric pattern. The conical head is surmounted by a spherical apex.
