20 Description The silver Torah Pointer consists of a bar and a pointer. The tapering bar is divided into upper and lower arms by a globular joint. The tapering cylindrical forearm is decorated with an openwork foliate pattern and terminates with a pointer in the shape of a clenched hand with a straight index finger. A smooth cuff is attached to the hand. The square upper arm is smooth and is topped by an upper joint in the shape of a crown which is composed of an openwork foliate pattern. A pear shape hanger is enclosed within the crown. The apex is in the shape of a bird.

The tapering bar is divided into upper and lower arms by a globular joint. The tapering cylindrical forearm is decorated with an openwork foliate pattern and terminates with a pointer in the shape of a clenched hand with a straight index finger. 1. The hallmark depicts the archangel Michael holding a sword, within a double shield-shape frame. This is a city mark of Kiev between the years 1828-1887.

2. The hallmark depicts the archangel Michael on the right and the cypher 84 on left within an eliptic frame. This is an authority mark of Kiev in the 4th quarter of the 19th century.

3. The hallmark depicts the cyrillic letters: "L.SH" (in Lat.). It is probably an artist mark and it is unidentified.

20 Description The silver Torah Pointer consists of a bar and a pointer. The tapering bar is divided into upper and lower arms by a globular joint. The tapering cylindrical forearm is decorated with an openwork foliate pattern and terminates with a pointer in the shape of a clenched hand with a straight index finger. A smooth cuff is attached to the hand. The square upper arm is smooth and is topped by an upper joint in the shape of a crown which is composed of an openwork foliate pattern. A pear shape hanger is enclosed within the crown. The apex is in the shape of a bird.

20 Description The silver Torah Pointer consists of a bar and a pointer. The tapering bar is divided into upper and lower arms by a globular joint. The tapering cylindrical forearm is decorated with an openwork foliate pattern and terminates with a pointer in the shape of a clenched hand with a straight index finger. A smooth cuff is attached to the hand. The square upper arm is smooth and is topped by an upper joint in the shape of a crown which is composed of an openwork foliate pattern. A pear shape hanger is enclosed within the crown. The apex is in the shape of a bird.
