20 Description The pewter Seder plate is round, with a raised rim. The central decoration depicts the Biblical story of Moses found in the river. Pharahoh's daughter, crowned and holding a cseptre, stands flanked by two maiden, on the river's bank. Another maiden kneels down and rases up the swaddled baby from the open ark. On the earth are wather-plants and a Fir tree is depicted on the other bank of the river. At the back ground is a depiction of a city walls and buildings, a bridg over the river and mountains. Around the rim is an inscription. In squer fieled letters it reads: "וישמע יי את קלנו...)דברים, כו:7( כמו שנאמר וישמע אלהים את נאקתם ויזכר אלהים... )שמות, ב:כד(". "And the Lord heard our voice...(Deut. 26:7). As it is said: And God heard their groaning, and God remember ...(Ex. 2:24)." The letters: 'I&CL' are inscribed in the center of the lower rim, they probably refer to the plate's owners name.

20 Description The pewter Seder plate is round, with a raised rim. The central decoration depicts the Biblical story of Moses found in the river. Pharahoh's daughter, crowned and holding a cseptre, stands flanked by two maiden, on the river's bank. Another maiden kneels down and rases up the swaddled baby from the open ark. On the earth are wather-plants and a Fir tree is depicted on the other bank of the river. At the back ground is a depiction of a city walls and buildings, a bridg over the river and mountains. Around the rim is an inscription. In squer fieled letters it reads: "וישמע יי את קלנו...)דברים, כו:7( כמו שנאמר וישמע אלהים את נאקתם ויזכר אלהים... )שמות, ב:כד(". "And the Lord heard our voice...(Deut. 26:7). As it is said: And God heard their groaning, and God remember ...(Ex. 2:24)." The letters: 'I&CL' are inscribed in the center of the lower rim, they probably refer to the plate's owners name.
