In the third circle, upon a pink and white ground, is a Hebrew inscription which says (from the top, moving counter clockwise): עושר עושר מביא לידי עזות "WEALTH Wealth leads to pride. עזות עזות מביא לידי שנאה PRIDE Pride leads to hatred. שנאה שנאה מביאה לידי עניות HATRED Hatred leads to poverty. עניות מביא לידי ענוה POVERTY Poverty leads to meekness. ענוה ענוה מביאה לידי אהבה MEEKNESS Meekness leads to love. אהבה אהבה מביאה לידי עושר LOVE Love leads to wealth". The illustrations corresponding to this text are depicted within the next circle against a green background. They consist of: a young man in a blue mantle holding a staff (wealth); a young man in a red robe (pride); a man screaming, being attacked from behind by a smaller figure with a raised sword (hatred); a man dressed as a traveller carrying a staff and a sack with a flask hanging from his hip (poverty); a young man holding a blue disc with a lamb on it, in one hand and pointing to the lamb with the other (meekness); a couple embracing (love). Within the innermost circle, on a blue background, is a heart inscribed with the effaced Hebrew letter >"Aleph"> א surmounted by a triple cross, with an X on top.

Workshop C, artist 2. Surrounding the text column in the upper, outer and lower margins is a rich frame consisting of stylized leaves and flowers with tendrils and gold dots. A single flower on a stem is growing out of a large vase flanked by two snakes. Next to it is a winged putto sitting on a turtle. Another winged putto in the center is riding a cock holding it by its crest, probably the armorial device of Gallico. ( close to workshop ) A winged green dragon is placed on the top. The filigree work was also designed by artist 2, who also worked on the conjoint folio 106-106v.
