20 Description REVERSE: Jug with narrow neck, a handle joining the shaft with a pearled shoulder, a fluted body , a narrow foot and a flat base. (Temple vessel(?) the golden flagon(?). In the upper right is a palm branch (lulav).##A circumscription in Paleo-Hebrew reads:## "אלעזרה כוהן" "Eleazar the Priest "##Border of dots.##OBVERSE: wreath (see sys no.975, same coin).

OBVERSE: A wreath (or diadem?) composed of eight beaded ovate leaves with open ribbon ties at bottom and an oval medallion at top. Within the wreath a Paleo-Hebrew inscription reads: שמע abbreviation for "Shimon". At the center of the three letters is a dot. Border of dots. REVERSE: Jug with palm branch (see card no.584, same coin).

REM : VARIATIONS: This type of wreath appears both during the second year of the revolt and in the undated denarii, with different variations of the inscription "Shimon", and all the different combinations of obverse motifs: Lyre (nebel), palm branch, trumpets, lyre (kinor), jug and jug with palm branch.##See bibliography.
