A Bucharian woman is holding her baby under her shawl. She has a round face with dark, heavy eyebrows. Her hair is covered with a tight-fitting cap with a shawl over it. Over her bright dress, a necklace can be seen. She holds her baby on her left arm. The baby has dark curly hair and he holds a finger to his mouth. He wears a checked shirt and a small pointed cap.
