The motif of the four animals was placed within three lunettes above the window’s of the women’s section. The imperial eagle with attributes of the Russian Empire (Bialystok district entered the Russian Empire in 1808) and running deer were depicted in the central lunette. A lion standing beside a tree, on whom sits a squirrel, was depicted in the right lunette. A tiger standing beside a tree, on whom sits a bird, was depicted in the right lunette.

The images of an eagle and a deer in the central lunette are also preserved. The heraldic, black, two-headed eagle with a gold scepter and sphere are depicted above the running deer. Sunflower bushes, trees, and more flowers with rabbits sitting under them, are depicted on either side of a running deer.

The inscription reads:

רץ כצבי

(as swift as the deer [Avot 5:20]).

Imperial eagle with the attributes of the Russian Empire (Bialystok district entered into the Russian Empire in 1808) and running deer were depicted in the central lunette. A lion standing beside a tree, on which sits a squirrel was depicted in the right lunette. A tiger standing beside a tree, on which sits a bird was depicted in the right lunette.

The images of an eagle and a deer in the central lunette are preserved. The heraldic black two-headed eagle with a gold scepter and a sphere are depicted on the top. A running deer is depicted under the eagle. Bushes sunflower with flowers and trees, under which sit rabbits, are depicted on either side of a running deer.

Inscription:

The motif of the four animals were placed in three lunettes on the western side of the groined vault above the window’s from women’s section. Imperial eagle with the attributes of the Russian Empire (Bialystok district entered into the Russian Empire in 1808) and running deer were depicted in the central lunette. A lion standing beside a tree, on which sits a squirrel was depicted in the right lunette. A tiger standing beside a tree, on which sits a bird was depicted in the right lunette.

The images of an eagle and a deer in the central lunette are preserved. The heraldic black two-headed eagle with a gold scepter and a sphere are depicted on the top. A running deer is depicted under the eagle. Bushes sunflower with flowers and trees, under which sit rabbits, are depicted on either side of a running deer.

20 Description

The motif of the four animals was placed within three lunettes above the window’s of the women’s section. The imperial eagle with attributes of the Russian Empire (Bialystok district entered the Russian Empire in 1808) and running deer were depicted in the central lunette. A lion standing beside a tree, on whom sits a squirrel, was depicted in the right lunette. A tiger standing beside a tree, on whom sits a bird, was depicted in the right lunette.

The images of an eagle and a deer in the central lunette are also preserved. The heraldic, black, two-headed eagle with a gold scepter and sphere are depicted above the running deer. Sunflower bushes, trees, and more flowers with rabbits sitting under them, are depicted on either side of a running deer.

The inscription reads:

רץ כצבי

(as swift as the deer [Avot 5:20]).
