20 Description The silver cylindrical coronet is divided into two parts: a base and an upper part. The flat base is decorated with a pattern of palmettes. The upper part is decorated with a circumfering scroll of a vine which bears clusters of grapes and leaves on a background of a zigzag band. The upper band is decorated with a pattern of leaves. The coronet has serrated edges which widens autwards and is decorated with the same pattern which appears at the base. A bar with two holes for the staves is attached across the lower edges of the coronet. A seperated plaque in a shape of an open hand is inserted through a hook which is attached to the inner side of the coronet. The center of the plaque depicts a star within a crescent. The central motif is encircled with a foliate scroll pattern. The cuff is decorated with a pattern of a whorl of leaves.
