Fol. 183v, in the lower part of the page: A rectangular ground plan of "the shape of the Heikhal according to its measurements"זה היא צורת ההיכל כולו לפי מדות  . The "West" מערב   is at the top, "East" מזרחat the bottom,  "South" דרום  on the left  and "North" צפוןon the right. The Heikhal comprises three parts:  the Hall אולם ,  the Holy Placeקדש    and the Holy of Holies קדש הקדשים . The wall of the Hall surrounds Heikhal on three of its sides.  Its width is "five amot" and its length is "hundred" (amot). The gap between the two bottom walls is "the gate of the Hall, twenty `amot זה היא שער האולם רוחב עשרים אמה Above it is the Hall area with an inscription related to the gate of the Holy Place "the width of this gate is ten" (amot) ער זה On either side of the central Holy Place are passages and walls, each with a different inscription. Inscribed from right to left.זה המקום שעודף באולם על ההיכל נקרא בית החליפות. עשר  "This is where the Hall exceeds the Heikhal and is called Beit Hahalifot (which is) ten amot (wide)." (This inscription is repeated on the extreme left.) .זהו המקום הנקרא כותל מסיבה. חמש"This place is called the wall of the mesibah (which is) five (amot wide)"  זהו המקום   נקרא מסיבה. שלש  "This place is called mesibah" (which is) three (amot wide)."

זה המקום נקרא כותל התא. חמש  "This place is called the wall of the Ta (cell) (which is). five (amot wide)."  פסיפש )פשפש) זה המקום נקרא התא והוא סובב את כל הבית  "Small gate this place is called the wall of the Ta (cell)and it surrounds the entire house (the Heikhal)."   .זהו כותל. שש "This is the wall (which is) six (amot wide)." With a gap for a gate inscribed:  מכאן נכנס להיכל"From here one enters the Heikhal."  The walls and the passages on the left of the Holy Place are nscribed: שש "six" (amot wide)". six (no inscription) .זהו כותל התא. חמש "This is the wall of the Ta (cell)  which is) five (amot wide).".  .זה המקום מקרא בית הורדת המים. שלש "This place is called "descending water" (which is) three(amot wide)."  זה המקום נקרא כותל ואינו לווי)?( לדבר אחר. חמש "This place is called "wall", and is not similar to anything else (which is) five (amot wide)."   .זה המקום שעודף באולם על ההיכל ונקרא בית חליפות. עשר אמות "This is the place in which the hall exceeds the Heikhal and is called Beit Hahalifot (which is) ten amot (wide)." In the center are the Holy Place which is "fourty amot length" ארבעים אמה אורך כל מקום  Holy of Holies above it is "twenty amot wide" and divided from the Holy place by two curtains with an area calledבין שני הפרוכות  "Between the two parokhot"At the bottom of the plan is an inscription (Mishneh Torah,VIII, II, 4:9):  ההיכל היה בניינו רחב מלפניו וצר מאחוריו כמו ארי ויציעים היומקיפין לבית כולו מסביב חוץ "The Heikhal building was wide in front and narrow at the back just like the ... and the balconies that were surrounding the house from the outside." wide".
