20 Description Two facing full-page panels consisting of an array of the various Sanctuary Implements placed on alternating purple and blue chequered rectangular compartments. The Implements are listed horizontally from right to left and top to bottom. In the upper right compartment of fol.11v is the Menorah with its tongs snuffdishes and two stones~. Below the Menorah is the jar of manna flanked by Aaron's flowering rod and Moses' barren rod. In the upper left compartment is the Ark of Covenant with the Tablets, topped by the two Cherubim. Below the Ark is the Shewbread Table topped by two spoons of frankincense. The biblical verses (Num. 8:4; Ex. 25:34) surrounding the panel in display script, allude to the making of the Menorah. (See following cards). The second full-page panel on fol. 12 consists of Implements placed on alternating purple and blue chequered rectangular compartments. In the upper right compartment is the Golden Altar of Incense. In the upper left compartment is the Altar of Sacrifice with its leaning ramp. In the middle right compartment are two trumpets above a shofar. In the middle left compartment is the Laver on its stand. In the lower right compartment, arranged vertically, are two pots and four basins. In the lower left compartment are two shovels two flesh hooks and a firepan. The text surrounding the panel was partly taken from the Seder Avodah (The Order of Offering) of the Mussaf prayer of the Day of Atonement and partly an addition which was either composed by the scribe or was customary at the time, wishing for the rebuilding of the Temple. It is written in display script. (see following cards)
