Fol. 10: The top part of the scroll surrounding the text is formed by a human-headed (uncoloured) hybrid bird whose feet stand on the Hebrew word עמדים "standing". In the outer margin a monkey carries a golden ball; the inner margin terminates in a tinted bird. The lower margin contains a drawing of a seated (uncoloured) hare, hunted by a hound in the margin of the opposite page (fol. 9v). Within the initial word panel צא ]ולמד[ "Come [and learn]", is a bird and a hooded grotesque with a human face.
