The tower-like rimon is made of silver and consists of a shaft,a body and an apex.## The shaft is cylindrical and is mounted over a round raised base. The shaft bears an inscription. The body has an hexagonal,tower-like shape and has two tiers. The main section is mounted over a bowled shape body base with a hexagonal rim and is surmounted by an hyperboloid collar and a cap. The body base is decorated with a row of petals.## Each facet of the body is made of openwork and bears two of the following objects one upon the other: a grape cluster with ivy leaves, a hand pouring oil into a bowl, a vase with flowers, the priestly^garment, the priestly^ benediction, the altar^with^flames, the priestly^crown, a five^branched^Menorah, the Tablets^of^the^Law and a hanging lamp.##The objects of the lower tier are set within an arched frame and the ones of the upper tier are set within a floral one.## The cap is decorated with an over turned row of flowers. The apex is mounted over the cap. One of them is acorn like and the other looks like a flame.## The inscription is engraved on the shaft in linear characters and it reads vertically towards the body: Comunita` Israelitica ## Genova 5714 =(1954)## !Jewish community## Genova5714=(1954)
