20 Description

The vault and the walls are painted by two different decoration schemes.

The vault decoration is designed as a centrally - symmetric composition. In the center of the arch is depicted two-headed heraldic eagle framed by a number of decorative concentric circles. One of the circles bears an inscription.

The twelve signs of the zodiac, situated in round medallions, were located around the framed heraldic eagle. Each of the medallion bears an inscription correlated to the zodiac sign. The images of 'three hare running in circles, from the east, and the image of three interlaced fish, from the west, were connected to the zodiacs circle. The both images were situated in a round medallions.

Two symmetrical composition are placed from the north and the south of the central images.
