Fol. 2: The first treatise גינת אגוז (Ginnat Egoz) opens with a square initial word panel enclosing the initial word אמר (He said) executed by Meir. The panel, surrounded by a guilloche frame, is decorated with a naked human figure at the bottom flanked by two eagles' heads above elephants' heads, and a sun at the top is flanked by two crescent moons facing each other. Two putti hold the panel at the sides, and a bird holding a twig is perched on top.
