Workshop C, artist 2. Surrounding the text column in the upper, outer and lower margins is a rich frame consisting of stylized leaves and flowers with tendrils and gold dots. A single flower on a stem is growing out of a large vase flanked by two snakes. Next to it is a winged putto sitting on a turtle. Another winged putto in the center is riding a cock holding it by its crest, probably the armorial device of Gallico. ( close to workshop ) A winged green dragon is placed on the top. The filigree work was also designed by artist 2, who also worked on the conjoint folio 106-106v.
