20 Description

The picture illustrates Song of Solomon 2: 3-7. It represents a kissing couple in a meadow, under a blooming apple tree. They both are reclining while he holds her hips and she holds his neck. He wears a white-red stripes robe and a red head cover. She wears a blue robe. On their right a brook streams, on their left there is a bush and behind it five cypresses. Mountains are seen in the far background. The blue-gray frame has an upper arched part, where two deer are depicted, running outwards. At the center between them a Menorah is depicted. The arc background is red with flowers interwoven in between. The text is written in the lower rectangular framed part of the page. It is in Hebrew brown, block letters. The frame of both text and picture is surrendered by a restricting frame within are vine, grapes and figs interlocked together.
