Description |
In the lower part of the wide second text column is a bird's eye view of the Altar of Sacrifice, showing three sides with the fourth effaced. The central square marks the place of sacrifice, marked "West" on top and "East" below. All four corners of the Altar are inscribed diagonally with names of the half points of the compass, marking the direction of the horns. |
