Art Alone
© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Radovan, Zev, 11.2.1992

The picture represents a woman from her waist and up with her mirror image below in a card like manner. The woman is facing to the front. To her right, in profile sits a monkey on a shelf, looking into a mirror. (The monkey is also seen twice.) She wears a headdress that covers her head and forehead, with two big round ear - pieces, that reach down to her shoulders. She has long black hair and blue eyes. Her hands lean on a red shelf and her fingers are crossed below her chin.On the right of the shelf there is a triangle, which is adorned with a yellow animal on black background. She wears bracelets on her hands. She wears a light blue and violet garment. On the left, in pencil, there is a sketch of the sign of a heart. There is an inscription in pencil in Hebrew : "to turn the monkey".
