In the central part of the foreground is represented a pregnant woman with a group of half-dressed children surrounding her.The barefooted woman wears a chemise with a skirt and a head scarf. She is holding a baby by her right arm and a hand of a girl in a kierchief by her left hand. There are six more children near the woman - one boy in a skull-cap, one boy in peaked cap, one infant, three boys without caps.
