Vol. I, fol. 105v:The final words "completing the laws of Sabbath eve and festivals” (שלמו הלכות ערבי שבתות וימים טובים) are written in bold black letters in three lines, within a simple red ink frame decorated with small red flowers.
Below the frame is a red filigree pen-work panel for the next section’s initial words: “Laws of unleavened bread” (הלכות חמץ). The initial words are written within a panel decorated with foliate scrolls and blue flowers which are placed within the panel and on each corner. Red flourishes extend from the panel along both sides of the text column.
