20 Description

An open eye is depicted at the center of the composition within an ellipse and inscribed within a circle that suggests the planet Saturn against a blue background. The canvas is divided into two parts: The upper three quarters of the canvas enclose the eye with blue pupil and black iris. The eye is also depicted in a way that suggests a fish shape. A closed eye or an open eye with no eye ball is set beneath the "fish eye" on the lower side of the circle. Green grass and earth are depicted in the corners beneath the circle. A Hebrew word is written in black on a white background in the bottom quarter of the panel. The first letter, mem, resembles the letter het and is in the form of a rhombus. The other three letters form the word Eve (which is also the name of the letter Ayn) is written in cursive letters.
